The Glencoe Lions Club is located in Lions District 5m2, Zone 1.

 

CLUB HISTORY:The club was started in 1974. In January 2016 we celebrated our club's 42nd anniversary of serving the Glencoe area. Our first club president was x. Although there are no charter members currenty active in the club we have one member (Lion x) who will be celebrating his 50th year as a Lion in January 2016.The club currently has (8) active Melvin Jones Fellowship members in the club. This award is the highest individual achievement at the club level that any lion can obtain.

 

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.
